Editorial Policy

This page explains how content is chosen, tested, and published on PresetsEditor, and how we handle mistakes. We publish presets, templates, template codes, and AI prompts for creators, and we take the quality of that content seriously.

How We Choose What to Publish

We publish things that solve a real problem for creators. That might be a preset that gives portraits a warm film look, a template for a trend that is all over social media, or a prompt that makes an AI photo tool produce something worth posting. We pay attention to what creators are asking for, what is trending, and what is missing from the library. We do not publish content just to fill space.

We also look for variety. The library should have something for different styles, different apps, and different skill levels — from simple one-tap presets for beginners to more detailed prompts for experienced editors.

Testing Before Publishing

Nothing is published untested. Before a preset goes live, we apply it to several different photos — portraits, landscapes, bright daylight shots, and low-light shots — to check that it behaves well and does not ruin skin tones or blow out highlights. Templates are opened in the editor and exported to make sure the timing, transitions, and effects work as described. Prompts are tried in the tool they are written for, so we can describe honestly what they produce.

If something does not work properly, it is fixed or it does not get published. A preset that only works on one perfect photo is not good enough for the library.

Original Descriptions

Every description on this site is written by our team, in our own words. We do not copy descriptions from other websites, app stores, or creators. When we describe what a preset does or how a template works, that description comes from actually using it.

Corrections

Mistakes happen. Apps update, features change, and links break. When we find an error — or when a reader tells us about one — we correct it as quickly as we can. Small fixes, like a wrong setting or a broken link, are corrected in place. If a preset or template stops working because an app has changed, we update the page or remove the item until it works again.

If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page. Include the page name and what is wrong, and we will look into it.

No Paid Placement Without Disclosure

We do not accept payment to feature a preset, template, or prompt as if it earned its place on merit. If we ever publish sponsored content or a paid recommendation, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored so you can judge it for yourself. Our editorial choices are made by us, not by advertisers.

Advertising on the site is separate from editorial content. Advertisers do not decide what we publish, and the fact that an ad appears on a page does not mean we endorse the product being advertised.

Reader Requests

Reader requests shape the library. If many people ask for the same look or the same kind of template, it moves up the list. We cannot promise to cover every request, but every request is read and considered.

What We Do Not Publish

We do not publish presets or prompts designed to deceive people, to copy another creator’s work, or to break the rules of the apps they are used in. We also do not publish content that is copied from other websites.
