Advertisement Policy

Advertisement Policy

PresetsEditor is free to use, and advertising is what pays for it. This page explains how ads work on the site, what they do and do not mean, and how you can control them. It was last updated on 5 November 2026.

Why the Site Shows Ads

Every preset, template, and prompt on this site is free. There is no subscription, no account, and no charge to download anything. The site is supported by the ads you see on its pages. That income covers hosting, testing, and the time it takes to create and check new content. Without advertising, the library could not stay free.

How Ads Are Shown

Ads on PresetsEditor are served by third-party advertising networks. They may appear as banners, boxes between sections of a page, or other standard formats. Ads are clearly separated from the site’s own content. Where an ad appears, it is labelled as an advertisement or marked in a way that makes it clear it is not part of our editorial content.

Ads are chosen automatically by the advertising networks, based on factors like the page you are viewing and general information about your device and location. We do not hand-pick individual ads, and we do not decide which specific ad you see.

Ads Are Not Endorsements

An ad appearing on PresetsEditor does not mean we recommend the product or service being advertised. We do not test or review advertised products, and we are not responsible for them. If you are interested in something you see in an ad, please judge it on its own merits and read the advertiser’s own information before buying or signing up for anything.

Advertiser Responsibility

The advertiser is responsible for the content of its ads and for whatever it sells. If an ad is misleading, offensive, or links to something harmful, please tell us through the contact page with a description or a screenshot, and we will report it to the advertising network and ask for it to be removed.

Your Choices

You can control ads in several ways. Your browser settings let you block third-party cookies, which are often used to show personalised ads. You can also use an ad blocker, although we would ask you to consider allowing ads on this site, since they are what keep the library free. Advertising networks also offer their own opt-out pages, where you can choose not to receive personalised ads from them. Details of the cookies involved are on our Cookie Policy page.

Paid Content and Sponsorships

If we ever publish sponsored content or a paid recommendation, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored. Editorial content is never written to favour an advertiser, and advertisers do not decide what we publish. For more on this, see our Editorial Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the way we run advertising on the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
