Accessibility Statement

PresetsEditor wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, and other assistive tools. We are working to make the site as accessible as we can, and this page explains what we do, where we know we fall short, and how you can tell us about a problem.

This statement was last updated on 5 November 2026.

Our Commitment

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the widely used standard for making websites accessible. We do not claim the site is perfect. Accessibility is ongoing work, and as the site grows, we keep checking and improving it.

What We Do

We try to make the site accessible in the following ways:

  • Clear structure. Pages use proper headings in order, so screen reader users can move through a page by its sections.
  • Readable text. We use plain language, short paragraphs, and good colour contrast between text and background, including the violet and amber colours of the site’s design.
  • Keyboard access. The site’s main content and navigation should be reachable using a keyboard alone, without a mouse.
  • Image descriptions. Where an image carries information, we add alternative text describing it. Decorative images are marked so screen readers can skip them.
  • Links that make sense. We try to write link text that describes where the link goes, instead of using “click here” on its own.
  • Simple layout. Pages are kept free of clutter, flashing content, and anything that starts playing sound without you asking it to.

Known Limits

We are honest about the parts of the site that are not yet fully accessible:

  • Some older images may be missing useful alternative text. We are working through them.
  • Preset previews are visual by nature. We describe what each preset does in words, but the look of a preset can only be judged by seeing it.
  • Some embedded content from other services, such as video players, may not fully follow our accessibility standards, because we do not control how those services are built.
  • The site has not yet been tested with every screen reader and browser combination.

Reporting an Accessibility Problem

If you have trouble using any part of PresetsEditor, please tell us. Use the contact form and describe the problem in your own words. It helps if you tell us which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what tool you were using, such as a screen reader or a keyboard. We will look into it and do our best to fix it.

We cannot promise a fix by a particular date, but every report is read, and accessibility problems are treated as real problems with the site, not as minor issues.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile. It is also designed to work with the accessibility features built into those browsers and into modern operating systems.
